I don’t however understand the two view points that you mentioned. There is nothing to be gained by disarming law abiding citizens. If you can show me at what time criminals would abide by gun laws I would be happy to hear it. Because isn’t that the very nature of a criminal?
Sorry. Sometimes my mind runs faster than I can type. I think maybe they were trying to avoid some wild west showdown by disarming the people. I’m not saying it was right. It seems like the innocent tend to suffer first when the state tries to take care of things.
That seems a bit crazy. How soon after the hurricanes was this? It seems like there was quite a bit of mayhem, during that time.
